Reflection

Has it ever happen to you to start thinking about your life right after you come from some vacations abroad? I came from holidays a little time ago and that escape from the daily life made me realise what I am losing being afraid and not taking care of myself.

I came home with a lot of goals to achive. And I am not sure if I will be able to complete them all. I have only two things... Hope and determination.

When I came here, I understood I was actually a loner. Nobody was waiting for me, but my cat. I understood that during this year and before I had done a lot of mistakes and bad decisions. These decisions have made my life boring and I have lost all my self-confidence. I have no trust in myself and I think I could have stopped it, if I wasn't so afraid of failing, of changes, of mistakes. I think that the fear of making mistakes makes you actually do mistakes.

It isn't so easy getting out of this phase, when everything you do seems to be wrong or when you can't finish anything you have started. Yes, it isn't easy but it's not impossible neither.

I think what you should do is find what you like to do and start doing it. For example, writing or dancing. If it makes you feel better then it can really help.

Friendship

Friendship has a different meaning to different people, but who is my opinion, was closer to finding the most common definition of this special word. Look at the following quotes:

"Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another:"What! You too? I thought I was the only one."

By C.S.Lewis

(Someone who can understand and has the same hobbies and habits as us? Yes, that what we are mostly looking for. Well said C.S.Lewis!)

"Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend." By Albert Camus

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.”

By William Shakespeare

Eleven Hints For Life

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who
means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was
never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose
it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been
missing until it arrives.

5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone, and a day to love someone… but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.

6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.

7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,
be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts that person too.

9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck
a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may
heal and bless.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with
a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.
